Sharon Bradley

Sharon arrived on our doorstep way back in the days of summer 2006, when she zealously took on the summer student position for The Word On The Street. After completing her degree in Art History at the University of British Columbia, she decided to stay.

Sharon works mostly with See Seven and The Word on the Street Vancouver.

When she isn't at Rebus, Sharon can be found working at Video Out, an artist-run distribution centre for film and other media. She is also one of the founding board members of the Balcone Art Society, and has independently curated visual arts exhibitions around Vancouver.

Trevor Battye

Trevor came to Rebus in the summer of 2005 as an HRDC summer student for The Word On The Street, having already spent two summers with Literacy BC. During that summer at Rebus, Trevor quickly demonstrated his ability to market, promote, and just plain sell WOTS to anybody who would answer the phone.

After university, Trevor rejoined the Rebus team in January 2006. Trevor worked on marketing and outreach initiatives for various clients until early 2009 when he decided to branch out and start a consulting company with a friend. His alter-ego as "ad man" at Geist, Canada's Literary Magazine .

Rita Buchwitz
Rita has a long history in the fine arts reflected in administration, coordination, project management and as a visual artist. She has completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History with many additional multi-media arts courses from SFU, Langara College, Vancouver Art Therapy Institute and Emily Carr College of Art and Design.

Rita brings together her skills in the arts and social sciences coordination and management to reflect solid experience in developing a project from idea to inception.

With Rebus, she coordinated the Harry Potter Launch Party for Raincoast Books, and has also served as the Volunteer Coordinator of The Word On The Street festival.

Ken Paquette
Ken is an avid photographer and technology aficionado, who takes great pics at most of our events.
