Rebus Creative currently produces two highly anticipated annual events for the BC publishing community:

We are the management team for the annual BC Book Prizes, our province’s most important gathering of literary talent to honour the best in BC writing and publishing. In addition to a gala awards ceremony and dinner for an estimated 350 guests, we coordinate a province-wide tour with finalist authors, arranging speaking engagements in bookstores, libraries and schools in several towns and cities. An annual BC Book Prizes Soirée also takes place to celebrate the finalists of the BC Book Prizes in the spring, about a week before the awards gala.

We are perhaps best known for Vancouver's The Word On The Street festival, for which we coordinate the artistic programming and most behind-the-scenes details, including publicity and marketing. As one of the country’s biggest book and magazine festivals, we attract an estimated 40,000 visitors to the site at Library Square every fall.

We have also produced other one-off events, including the official public launch party for Harry Potter and the Legend of the Phoenix for Raincoast Books, a fund raiser for Canuck Place Children’s Hospice.
